Ardis Billey is a professional harpist and violinist, an avid performer and a dedicated teacher. She plays both pedal and Celtic harp as well as the Irish fiddle. Ardis earned her bachelor of music degree in harp performance from Cleveland State University. She was elected to the society of Pi Kappa Lambda for outstanding musical and academic achievement.

She studied harp with famed harpist and teacher Alice Chalifoux at the Cleveland Institute of Music as well as the Salzedo Summer Harp Colony of America in Camden, Maine for 10 years. Her performances include a mix of solo, chamber, and orchestral work. She enjoyed playing under the direction of highly recognized conductors as Martin Kessler, Carl Topilow, Alan Balter, Max Bragado-Darman, Michael Stern, Gerhardt Zimmermann, or Robert Cronquist, as well as performing in such prestigious venues as Severance Hallor the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France A Suzuki violin and harp teacher for more than 2 decades, she has developed a strong and never challenged vision of the role of music in nurturing skills in the whole child and contributing to his cognitive, emotional, social, language and physical development. Her teaching background includes teaching at the Suzuki Violin Department of the Cleveland Institute of Music, at Baldwin Wallace College, Agnon School, Menlo Park Academy, Laurel School, as well as in her private studio teaching (pedal harp, Celtic harp and violin). She founded Kindermusik by the falls in 2000. Since then, she has exposed and initiated to music more than 2,000 babies, toddlers, preschoolers and young children in the Great Cleveland area. She lives in Novelty, on a small horse farm with her daughter Natalie and her husband Patrick from France.
