Cynthia Crotty, instructor of the Suzuki Piano Method Levels 1-8. Ms. Crotty received her Bachelor of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music and her Master of Arts from Case Western Reserve University. Cynthia studied the Suzuki Method under the tutelage of Bruce Anderson, Carol Lubetkin, Rita Hauk, and the founder of the Suzuki piano method, Haruko Kataoka of Japan. Ms. Crotty has performed throughout the greater Cleveland area as a soloist and duo-pianist. Cynthia has taught the Suzuki Method at Baldwin Wallace College, Cleveland Music School Settlement, Willoughby School of Fine Arts and the Solon Fine Arts Center. Several of Cynthia's students have participated in nationwide master classes, performed and competed nationally, have been awarded several gold medals at the World Piano Competition, and have performed in recital at the Kennedy Center, United Nations and the world famous Carnegie Hall. Cynthia currently has her own private piano studio in Chagrin Falls.
