Luke Wiencke, Menlo Park Academy. Student of the Month
Luke Wiencke is a second grader this year at Menlo Park Academy. Last year, he chose to play the violin. This summer, his love of the violin, sparked by hearing a concert that featured a young violin soloist, coupled with his personal gift for the instrument and a lot of practice is paying off! He is the student of the month, having learned all the twinkle variations this summer! Luke stands out in violin class with his commanding posture and beautiful bow technique beginning to blossom! Someday, his practicing may take him to the very stage that he watched that young soloist play on and he will take his place and inspire an audience himself with beautiful music. Way to go, Luke!
